Cosplay experience:
8 years of being part of the amazing cosplay community raising money for charity and putting smiles on faces.

I started out with an off the shelf Gamora costume in 2019 Port Solent Comic Con and went from there to now having 10+ active cosplays.

My husband Andy and I started Hampshire Cosplay For Charity in 2019 to mix our love of cosplay and supporting charities.

I love seeing the children's faces light up when they see you as their favourite character. Our son also joins in and we try and do group cosplays together as a family such as Belle, The Beast and Chip. He loves it just as much and gets very involved staying in character.

If there was a costume i would love to have that I don't have currently would be cinderella. A dress that would transform from rags to ball gown. I've seen another cosplayer with one and it looks amazing.

I have made some of the accessories for my cosplays such as the Gamora gauntlets and belt, and want to explore more detailed costumes.

I hope to keep going as long as I can and make adaptions to my cosplays as I go.

Cosplaying is extremely fun and rewarding but also very hard work. Walking around in costume all day is harder than it looks.
